vCustomer Retains #1 Ranking in Employee Satisfaction for
Third Year
The only BPO/Contact Center to ever retain top the
DQ-IDC ESAT survey chart for three consecutive years

This is the first time in the survey’s history that a firm has achieved the
#1 ranking for three consecutive years.
The annual study was conducted by Dataquest Magazine and IDC, a consulting firm specializing
in market intelligence and advisory services. The study recognizes individual recognition
and growth opportunities provided by global service providers to their employees.
The annual DQ-IDC India BPO ESAT Survey revealed that the vCustomer 2009 employee
satisfaction scores were substantially higher than the competition. The survey rated
companies on 12 key parameters including: employee size, company culture, job content
or growth, training, salary and compensation, appraisal system, people and preferred
company.
A key vCustomer differentiator was the ability to automate employee processes by
migrating all employee inquiries and concerns to an online forum. The online forum
has led to greater transparency, faster resolution and overall improvement in the
employee experience.
A substantial investment in employee training – both behavioral and skills
– has helped vCustomer employees move up the career ladder, significantly
pushing the employee satisfaction index. Additional trainings target employee health
and wellness, including quarterly health camps where employees can receive a no-cost
health exam.
