Sanjay Kumar
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
In 1999, Sanjay founded vCustomer Corporation, headquartered in Kirkland, Washington,
providing Customer Support and Business Process Outsourcing services with operations in the
US, UK, Philippines and India. Before founding vCustomer, Sanjay was the Network Architect at Teledesic Corporation,
a visionary LEO Satellite venture backed by Bill Gates and Craig McCaw. Prior to
that, he worked at Microsoft Corporation, where he created and managed the Broadband
and Internet Telephony Group. Over the years, he has participated in a number of
technical groups in the area of Broadband and Internet standards at the ITU, the
ATM Forum and IETF. He has co-authored diverse
standards including Voice over ATM and Quality of Service for TCP/IP networks.
Sanjay has spoken extensively in the areas of Outsourcing, Offshoring and Business
Transformation. He has also authored numerous articles/chapters in books, magazines
and other print and online publications regarding the opportunities and challenges
that today’s corporations face when delivering great customer service. He
currently teaches Business Transformation at the University of Washington’s
Foster School of Business.
Sanjay holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and
a BS in Computer Engineering and Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University. He
has served on the board of directors of the Washington Software Alliance, the Retail
Management Program and other non-profit organizations.
Thomas O’Rourke
Chief Technology Officer
Tom plays the role of Chief Architect, the Motivator in Chief and a
world class skeptic! Prior to joining vCustomer, Tom was the CEO at Eneris Solutions
that specialized in developing products and Web based solutions for Media and Communications
companies. Prior to joining Eneris, Tom founded Softbit Oy in Finland in 1997, which
specialized in designing software solutions for Telecommunications and Contact Center
industries and grew the team to 40 world class developers. Prior to that he worked
on designing and developing numerous products at Microsoft Corporation in the area
of Multimedia. Tom is proud of his work on KSProxy, which is still a
part of all Windows releases. He holds 5 patents in the areas of Multimedia systems
design.
Tom has a Masters in Computer Sciences from Oulun Yliopisto University
in Finland and a Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
Vamshi Reddy
Chief Information Officer
Vamshi has had two stints at Microsoft Corporation over a 12 years period,
working on products like Internet Telephony, Internet Explorer, Windows Services
for Unix, Tablet PC, BizTalk Server and RFID. He initially served as a Development
Manager and later as Program Manager. He has spent most of the last 6 years working
with various startups in the Seattle area playing the role of CIO/CTO with companies
focused on building web services, enabling Internet access on airplanes, and developing
new social networking concepts. Vamshi holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas and a BTech in Computer Science from IIT
Chennai, India.
Sanjay Gupta
Chief Operating Officer
Sanjay Gupta brings with him rich, multi-sector experience of nearly
25 years. He has worked with global brands such as ICI, Toyota and most recently,
GE Capital, in diverse markets of India, the Middle East and SE Asia. Sanjay joined
GE in 2000 as COO/CEO. In 2002, he took charge of the GE Auto Finance business
and drove changes to the business model for better profitability. Late 2003, Sanjay
became Chief Marketing Officer for GE Money India, a role in which he focused on
creating a new GE Money brand led by a strong CRM/Pricing/Insurance technology platform
and enhanced customer experience to drive customer relationships and wallet share.
In 2006, Sanjay moved to Vietnam as CEO & Country Head to build a strategic base
for GE Capital through Government partnership, acquired necessary licenses for operations
as well as lead acquisition opportunities among the top local financial institutions.
Prior to joining GE, Sanjay’s experience includes positions as National Business
Manager with ICI and as the Product & Brand Head for Toyota/Lexus. He has worked
for both companies in a number of leadership positions during his stint of 7+ years
each.
Sanjay graduated from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi with a BS in
Mathematics followed by an MS in Operational Research. Thereafter, he completed
his MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad. He is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
Luis Mata
Vice President, Finance
Luis joined vCustomer in February 2001 and is responsible for managing global financial statements, auditing and other financial functions. Prior to joining vCustomer, Luis held the position of financial and securities advisor with Diversified Concepts, formerly a subsidiary of Fortis. He has over 10 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting and internal auditing, working in the capacity of corporate controller for various technology and manufacturing organizations. Luis graduated from the College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University, where he earned a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

Lori Inuzuka
Vice President, Client Relations
Lori possesses 14 years of overall Call Center management experience. Her responsibilities
have included P&L ownership for captive centers, selecting and managing outsourcers,
managing relationships of Fortune 50 clients, and driving multi-million dollar capital
projects.
At vCustomer, Lori oversees the International Business Unit, which is responsible
for end-to-end Service Delivery for the client base. This encompasses everything
from agent recruiting and development to training, quality, and analytics. She is
also responsible for all client relationships. In this capacity, she consistently
aids clients’ success and growth by reducing their operating costs, increasing
their revenues and improving their customer satisfaction levels.
Lori holds a Business degree from the University of Southern California and prior
to joining vCustomer she managed multi-site operations for Eddie Bauer and Blue
Cross.
Ken Hansen
Vice President, Business Development
Ken brings in his rich expertise in sales and business development to the vCustomer board. Prior to joining vCustomer, Ken was Head of Sales for 7 years at Marketleader (formerly known as HouseValues.com). At HouseValues, Ken helped in the successful execution of the Company's IPO in December 2004. During his stint at HouseValues, Ken successfully grew the Company revenue from $12M to over $100M. In addition, Ken was instrumental in building a national sales team with over 240 sales people in multiple offices across the country. Before joining Market Leader, Ken was Head of Sales at Onvia.com. At Onvia, Ken reorganized the sales force to create efficiencies that enhanced the customer experience while continuing to grow revenue and increase retention. Prior to Onvia, Ken spent 7 years at IKON Office Solutions covering both the Washington and Oregon marketplace, as the Sales Manager and District Sales Manager respectively. Ken holds a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Economics from Washington State University.
